1. About CraicNow
CraicNow is an event-discovery service for finding events by place and date. These terms apply to craicnow.ie, the CraicNow mobile app and related services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 to create an account. Individual events may have higher age restrictions, and you are responsible for checking and following them. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements and can agree to these terms.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account. Do not impersonate another person or organisation.
4. Event Information
Event information may be submitted by organisers or obtained from other sources. Events can change, sell out or be cancelled. Check important details with the organiser or ticket provider before travelling or purchasing. CraicNow does not guarantee that every listing is complete, current or error-free.
5. Vendors and Organisers
Vendors and organisers must have authority to publish their profiles, events and links; keep information accurate; disclose relevant restrictions; and comply with applicable laws. CraicNow may request verification and may label, restrict or remove profiles or listings.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant CraicNow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that your content is lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights.
7. Following, Saved Events and Attendance
Following, saving or marking attendance is a planning feature only. It is not a booking, ticket, reservation, guarantee of admission or endorsement.
8. Notifications
Notifications are informational and may be delayed, duplicated or unavailable. Do not rely on them as the only source of time-sensitive event information. You can manage notification preferences in CraicNow and device settings.
9. Location Features
Location features provide approximate discovery results based on foreground GPS, a saved location or a location you enter. Results and distances may be inaccurate. CraicNow does not continuously or background-track location.
10. Payments
CraicNow does not currently process ticket payments or offer paid listings or subscriptions. Any ticket purchase or other payment occurs with a third party under that party’s terms, refund policy and privacy practices.
11. Third-Party Services
CraicNow may link to organisers, maps, ticket sellers and other third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, content or practices. Review their terms before using them.
12. Acceptable Use
Do not use CraicNow unlawfully; submit misleading, harmful or infringing content; harass others; scrape or access the service by unauthorised automated means; bypass security or moderation; interfere with operation; distribute malware; or misuse personal information.
13. Moderation and Suspension
We may investigate reports and remove or restrict content, features or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with law or secure the service. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to suspension or closure.
14. Intellectual Property
CraicNow and its original software, branding, design and content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you. Third-party names and content remain their owners’ property.
15. Availability
We may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
16. Disclaimer
CraicNow is provided on an “as available” basis for event discovery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee event quality, safety, suitability, admission or organiser conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory Irish and EU consumer rights.
17. Account Closure
You may stop using CraicNow at any time. Until self-service deletion is available, email craicnowapp@gmail.com from your account email to request deletion. We may close accounts as described in these terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
19. Changes to CraicNow or These Terms
We may change the service or these terms. We will publish updated terms and revise the date above, and provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means the updated terms apply, subject to applicable law.
20. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. If you are a consumer, you retain mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available where you live.
